Takeover of Imlek will be completed in the period of 3-6 months

Director of Imlek, Slobodan Petrovic, said the takeover of the biggest domestic dairy could take from three to six months to complete.

He added he did not expect any problems with Serbia's Commission for the Protection of Competition "because the market share will not change with the sale, since the new owner will be buying what already exists".

Royal FrieslandCampina and Salford Capital Partners Inc. signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the acquisition of the companies Imlek Beograd and Mlekara Subotica, by which FrieslandCampina intends to strengthen its business position in Southeast Europe - the region with 76 million consumers - said a statement for the media issued earlier this week by FrieslandCampina.
