Belgrade Airport continued with growth in passenger numbers

After Belgrade airport “Nikola Tesla” had served 3.1 million passengers last year, with 16% growth regarding 2010, the biggest domestic airport continued with growth in this year too.

Airport’s Managing director Velimir Radosavljevic stated that this year’s results are optimistic and passenger numbers and traffic volume will grow at accelerated pace in 2012.

“Obviously, airport will record 20% more passengers in January than the same month year before when it had round 179.000 passengers”, Radosavljevic said. Belgrade airport gained RSD 4.67bn in revenues for January-September 2011 period, and net income of RSD 1.7bn.

According to the budget for last year profit is expected to be RSD 2.5bn.
